Please forgive the legal-speak, it's something that must be done.

Customer Agreement


1. The stated turn around time is only an estimate. The actual turn around time depends on the date and time the text to be translated was received, the difficulty of the translation, etc. Neither PuedesHablar Translation Services nor its owner shall be held responsible for unforeseen delays in the translation process. PuedesHablar Translation Services shall notify the customer either by phone or Email of any delays that would cause the delivery to be postponed past the estimated date of completion.

2. A customer of PuedesHablar Translation Services may cancel his/her Contract of Services at any time during the translation process, for any reason. The customer shall be responsible for a prorated amount based on how much of the translation has already been completed. The customer shall also be subject to a $25 cancellation fee to be paid in full within 10 days of notice of cancellation.

3. PuedesHablar Translation Services may cancel a contract of services at any time, for any reason without penalty. If PuedesHablar Translation Services cancels a Contract of Services, the contract becomes null and void and any charges to the customer shall be waived.
4. Neither PuedesHablar Translation Services nor its owner shall be held responsible for the content of any materials translated, nor shall they be held responsible for any misinterpretations of translated text. Any mistakes found in the translations within 14 days of delivery of the completed translation may be returned and corrected free of charge. Neither PuedesHablar Translation Services nor its owner shall be held responsible for any damages or losses as a result of mistranslations, misinterpretations of texts translated, etc.

5. Translations must be of a minimum length of 250 words for PuedesHablar Translation Services to logistically use its time to maximum potential. Please note that the customer will be charged $20 (250 words x $.08) even if the actual total number of words is less than 250.

6. Payment of the amount agreed upon by the customer and PuedesHablar Translation Services as stated in the Contract of Services shall be made in full within 10 days of delivery (physical or electronic delivery) of the completed translation. Failure to do so shall result in a late fee in the amount of 10 percent of the total translation cost. If payment has not been received after an additional 30 days, another late fee of 10 percent of the total translation cost shall be assessed.

7. PuedesHablar Translation Services prefers common file types. Any translation with a file type not easily accessed via Microsoft Office, Open Office or another open source software program shall be subject to a $10 convenience fee or the cost of the software, whatever is greater. This fee will be waived if the customer provides the appropriate software.
